NEWS AT 11 OVERVIEW
News and 11 exists so

News and 11 was inspired by collaborative conversation with Dj Johnny Juice , Blessings Divine, and Poet Soulfighter AKA Maurice "Soulfighter" Taylor during a Poetic Recovery - Cultural Healing program meeting. This forum and it's sub forms will be about the purpose of NEWS AT 11, it's purpose, how it will run, and it's founders.

Purpose:
To disseminate the stories cultural news reporters, through the development of a cultural news outlet which will consist of Dj Johnny Juice of Public Enemy, and Dj Juices connection to Enemy Radio and Maurice Taylor's radio station Poetic Recovery. This list is subject to grow.
To highlight and showcase the cultural works of artists reporting News of their community(ies) through their cultural expression. Hip Hop comes from the Griots and Griots have always been the news bearers of their communities and so did emcees which all but dissipated with the exploitation and appropriation of Hip Hop culture. The aim of NEWS AT 11, which is also referred to as NEWS @ 11 is to echo the voices of the cultural news reporters.

To develop a new generation of Griots.

How NEWS AT 11 works
Cultural Submission: is defined as artists submitting their cultural works which include songs, poetry, raps, visual works on canvas and video via links to this NEWS AT !! bulletin board. All submissions can be reviewed and submitted to the radio stations mention in the participating radio stations under the participating radio station form. As well as by Djs that are members of NEWS AT 11 which at this time is on Dj Juice of Public Enemy and Dj Soulfighter of Poetic Recovery.


Goals:
To get started It works by artists putting what's going on in their community in song, poem, visual both canvas and video. Submitting tracks here allows them to be reviewed by Dj Jonny Juices and Maurice "Soulfighter" Taylor to possibly be submitted to Chuck D's radio station via Johnny Juice and Poetic Recovery Radio via Poet Soulfighter (Maurice "Soulfighter" Taylor).

This increase the ability for you/us the artists to control the cultural narrative of our/your community(ies) and allow the public to gain more access to artists with good messages.

To encourage the good of our communities, uplift our spirit, retain a positive self image and create opportunities for cultural artists with an emphasis on Hip Hop culture.
